In addition to our lumber, we take many of the bigger and more interesting logs and make larger stock and slabs up to 50″ wide and 4″ thick for furniture and other large projects. The following items are available for sale.

Wide Elm Slabs – $10/bf
Up to 42″ wide, 15′ long, 2-1/2″ thick
Air dried for 3 years and kiln dried
These slabs have been resurfaced to make flat, ready for sanding
Narrow Elm Slabs – $5/bf
18 – 24″ wide, 15′ long, approx. 2-1/2″ thick
Port Orford Cedar
This unique Port Orford Cedar slab was just cut in December, 2011 and is air drying. Call for dimensions and pricing.
These slabs are an example of black locust, an exotic wood which is often overlooked in this area. These slabs have been sold.
We had another batch of small black locust slabs in a variety of interesting shapes. These slabs have also been sold.
These redwood slabs have nice compression figure. The slabs have been sold.

Cedar Knee Slabs

These walnut slabs were cut in 2004 and kiln dried in 2010. This local, air dried walnut is relatively rare in this area and has beautiful color. These slabs have been sold.
We have many maple slabs cut and drying, ranging from mixed grain to nicely figured pieces. These have not been kiln dried at this time. Pricing varies as to figure, size and state of dryness.

The American Elm slab in the photo below has been sold.
We have many other elm slabs cut and drying, some as wide as 36″ by 12′ long. These need to dry for about another year or so, and are available any time and will be beautiful slabs. These are photos of them being cut. Prices will range from $8 – 12 per board foot.
